Markwayne Mullin

US Secretary of Homeland Security50%credibility0 / 0 / 0

Why this score Cabinet secretary speaking for the department whose conduct is at issue; authoritative on DHS plans but an interested party, and his July count of noncitizens registered was not borne out on state review in Nevada (per reporting). Provisional.

The only reason why we would be at polling places is if there is a threat to that polling place or we're serving a warrant on someone that we have been actively tracking down. ICE's job is immigration, customs enforcement. That's their job … if we're serving a warrant we will be where we need to be.

The Homeland Security secretary, to reporters in New York, as reported by Politico and the Guardian. It leaves room for officers at polling places to serve warrants. What ICE does through 3 November will test it.
